About The Client

Glenbourne is a cidery in Nova Scotia’s Glen Tosh valley, where apples are handpicked to craft both hard apple cider and apple juice. What began as a family’s effort to bring new life to old farmland, has grown into a business built on passion and care. Known for their focus on community and sustainability, they now produce some of Cape Breton’s finest ciders.

The Goal

Glenbourne Inc., the only apple grower on the island, cultivates over 4,000 trees with plans for further expansion. Their goal is to produce high-quality cider and juice while eventually expanding to other fruits.

The Solution

To support their cider and juice production journey, they have invested in our 800 kg/h apple processing line. We had a pleasure to produce the first cider batch together – the taste was an immediate success. As the clients are loooking to expand their operations, they plan to press a wider variety of fruits, including berries. The new line was such a hit that after just three days, the clients are already considering an upgrade to a 3000 kg/h system.
